(Temp) Digital Asset Archivist, Kelly Svcs. – NJ
Kelly Services is seeking a Digital Asset Archivist for a client. This is a temporary position, located in Morris Plains, NJ.The Digital Asset Archivist ensures support for the creative and executional resource needs of the Design Center’s creative team.
Job Functions
- Maintains electronic file organization for all digital assets.
- Ensures that all files are named in compliance with pre-determined naming conventions.
- Ensures that all project folders are organized in compliance with pre -determined hierarchy and content.
- Ensures product image folders are organized and continually updated with current approved imagery.
- Ensures that all purchased photography is organized in compliance with pre –determined hierarchy.
- Ensures that all die-lines received from vendors are organized a n d name d in compliance with pre-determined hierarchy.
- Ensures that all bar codes received from vendors are organized in compliance with predetermined hierarchy.
- Effectively communicate with the Ops. Mgr.
- Issues daily updates of new bar codes and die lines received.
- Supports fellow members of the creative team by executing basic fundamental creative tasks like creating contact sheets, collecting assets, and saving files in alternative formats.
- Highly detail focused.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently on the Macintosh OS file systems.
- Self driven and motivated, able to work independently.
- Must be able to organize and manage multiple hierarchies of creative assets.
- Should possess a basic sense of graphic design and an eye for details.
- Must have aptitude to function in a repetitive task-driven, detail-oriented environment.
- Able to function in a high paced, deadline driven environment.
- Able to interface effectively with internal team members and outside vendors.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in professional communications.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Working knowledge of Macintosh File Systems and Management.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Experience in creative asset management.
- Experience in proper construction of layout/design files in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Good verbal and written communications.
- Experienced in working in a creative environment.
