Data Management Lead, Zoetis – NJ
Zoetis, formerly a business unit of Pfizer, is seeking a Data Management Lead. This position is located in Florham Park, New Jersey.The Analytics & Reporting Center of Excellence Data Management Lead will be responsible for delivering reporting services to our CoE customers including standard reports, ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
This critical role is responsible for providing the leadership and expertise to acquire, manage, transform, normalize and analyze data to create a data asset that will be used to drive insightful analyses and reports in support of the Analytics and Reporting CoE.
This person will also work closely with the Technology Organization to drive consistent operating processes, procedures, and methodologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the design and implementation of an enterprise Data Governance framework.
- Take accountability for enterprise-level data standards and data governance processes (define systems of record, standards, cleansing rules, naming conventions, access policies etc…)
- Serve as internal CoE point of contact for anything IT or CoE environment related (including tools).
- Serve as a resource within the CoE for training on methodologies, principles, practices and tools.
- Develop and maintain classifications and information organization standards.
- Develop deep understanding of all of the data within the organization and incorporates relevant data into the CoE environment
- Accountable for driving data integrity and compliance
- Accountable for driving database architecture and technical environment within the CoE
- Responsible for data management and data content within the CoE
- Responsible for driving the maintenance of data model and analytics environment
- Responsible for driving data enhancements, including ETL programming and integration of capabilities across analytics functions
- Provides data source and system issue resolution
- Serve as a leader and champion of data management and data architecture across the enterprise.
- Experience in building large scale BI & Integration solutions across multiple business areas
- Deep understanding of BI, analytics, integration & data governance
- Experience in data warehousing tools, ETL/reporting, middleware
- Ability to drive multiple initiatives and run both data strategy and operations across the portfolio
- Ability to influence and manage relationships across the organization even where no direct line of reporting exists
- Ability to run a metrics driven operation
