Outreach and DAM Specialist, Institute of International Education – NY

The Institute of International Education seeks an Outreach and Digital Asset Management Specialist. This position is located in New York, NY.

The Outreach and DAM Specialist will work with the Fulbright Outreach Team to oversee the timeline and workflow implementation for the Fulbright Digital Asset Management System (DAM).  Duties include: Managing assets/content, leading training sessions with new users and ensuring ongoing functionality of the application. The position will also assist the outreach team in recruitment and publicity of the Fulbright Student Program. Work is carried out independently under general supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Create and oversee the timeline / work plan for the DAM.  Duties include system cleaning, providing metrics and reporting.
• Schedule training sessions with various stakeholders, including working with Posts/Commissions in using the system & best practices.
• Develop and launch various asset acquisition campaigns within the DAM.
• Work with partner Fulbright Libraries to ensure archiving of their documents in the DAM with the appropriate approval processes.
• Work with vendor on adding additional functionality to the DAM.
• Work with sponsor to explore possibilities of integrating the DAM with social media platforms (such as Twitter, Facebook, etc).
• Assist the outreach team in recruitment for the US Fulbright Student program.  Some duties include but are not limited to acting as a liaison with colleges and universities and conducting requested research.
• Responsible for complying with applicable contract and sponsor requirements and following all IIE policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties and functions as assigned.
Education/Experience: 
 
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least two years of experience managing detail-oriented projects.
• Experience implementing innovative solutions to workflow management preferred.
• Experience working on government sponsored programs a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
 
• Knowledge of and exposure to a variety of DAM systems and protocols.
• Knowledge of and exposure to social media networks.
• Demonstrated project management skills and successful completion of special projects.
• High attention to detail.
• Mac/PC proficiency and comfort with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Proactively drives initiatives and asks questions.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
