Data Librarian, JP Morgan Chase - NY

JP Morgan Chase is seeking a Data Librarian/Business Analyst to implement the Legal and Regulatory Process Program. The objective of the Legal and Regulatory Process Program is to design and develop a global, firm-wide, risk-based process to evidence compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations (“Legal Obligations”).  Reporting will be made possible by linking an enterprise-wide taxonomy of Legal Obligations to controls that evidence compliance, including policies, self-assessments, training, monitoring and others from each Line of Business.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the business modeling aspects of engagements working closely with appropriate SMEs in the business and in all JPMC control functions
• Leverage SME information and lead collaboration, organization and dissemination of legal obligations, policies and controls with views by Legal Obligation, Business, Regulation, Policy, Regions, Country, Legal Entity and others across various lines of business and control functions

Support the design and establishment of an enterprise-wide regulatory library and regulatory change management process

Qualifications

• 10  years experience preferred including leadership in complex organizations and management of large programs
• Experience in supporting and designing process modeling for large projects
• Experience using industry tools, such as Provision, to build out multi-dimensional business models (will be an added benefit but not a mandatory requirement)
• Thorough understanding of the business environment, including the role of technology with respect to supporting the business
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with demonstrable ability to debate issues, stand firm on principles yet remain sensitive to other’s motivations
• Highly motivated, comfortable taking the initiative and taking a view
• Structured disciplined approach
• Good knowledge of financial markets to establish credibility
• Analytical, flexible and pragmatic
