Web Content Editor, Haymarket Media – NJ
Haymarket Media seeks a Web Content Editor for the myCME site. myCME is the
online hub for digital CME and CE courses developed by Haymarket Medical
Education. This position is located in Montvale, NJ.
The Web Content Editor, myCME works directly with the Editorial Director to maintain and build out the myCME website and implement content building and sharing efforts. Accuracy, efficiency, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting numerous pressing deadlines are vital to being successful in this position. This position collaborates with editorial, art, program management, business development, marketing, web development, and other parts of Haymarket Medical Education (HME).

Responsibilities
- Post myCME activities to the myCME website
- Develop and deploy new content sources
- Help Editorial Director update website daily and recommend ways to keep site fresh and dynamic
- Answer customer support inquiries
- Create and deploy surveys, working with myCME and HME personnel
- Address day-to-day questions from internal departments regarding website operations
- Develop and implement new ideas that enhance the user experience on myCME
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or similar field
- 2 years of experience in digital media
- Medical/healthcare knowledge or experience desired
- Knowledge of basic HTML coding, web production tools, content management systems,
- Excel, web analytics, and search engine optimization a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a copy editor’s eye
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Self-starter who can multitask, solve problems, and take ownership of projects
- Ability to forge strong working relationships with a variety of colleagues
- Ability to adapt to and operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving team environment
