Senior Analyst, Global eCommerce Web Content and Operations, Toys "R" Us - NJ
Toys”R”Us is seeking a Senior Analyst, Global eCommerce Web Content and Operations, to play a critical part in enabling expansion of our online business to customers around the world. Newcomer will provide support in the areas of content management, item setup processes, site taxonomy, assortment strategies and pricing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement for eCommerce operations across the globe with focus on:
- Merchandising Operations: Provide support in the areas of content management, item setup processes, site taxonomy, assortment strategies and pricing strategies.
- Back-End Operations: Provide support in the areas of customer service and fulfillment.
- Ensure best practices are followed across all global eCommerce teams.
- Drive the definition and updates to SOP’s, best practices and business process documentation.
- Facilitate creation of operational reports and monitoring Key Performance Indicators.
- As identified, document any operational processes that can be efficiently managed on a global basis and oversee ongoing execution as necessary.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance in the area of Item Content Management:
- Facilitate the sharing of item content across the global markets.
- Recommend content strategies in coordination with SEO goals.
- Follow industry trends and attend industry events to ensure continual development of own skills and awareness of industry best practices.
- Act as leader for team of two analysts that will also provide
support for Global eCommerce Operations including analyst supporting
merchandising operations and analyst supporting back-end (Customer
Service & Fulfillment Operations).
- Drive for continual improvements in results and supporting development of team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the global (both US and Intl.) markets and enable processes for collaboration across all global teams.
- Provide project support for Global eCommerce initiatives including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing and creation of training and communication plans.
- Work closely with 3rd party eCommerce platform provider and other third party providers.
- Support the initial start-up of local market eCommerce teams and the implementation of the operating model.
- Provide support during set-up, testing, training and launch of operational processes.
- Oversee operations analyst responsible for supporting fulfillment and customer service.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or five years relevant experience.
- Experience in website/online content or merchandising-related role.
- Experience supporting back-end operations including fulfillment and customer service preferred.
- Previous experience with eCommerce organizations with experience managing direct reports preferred.
- At least 1 – 2 years of experience in a consulting or large-scale project management role preferred.
- Experience launching new websites preferred.
- Experience working with Web Analytics tools (e.g. Omniture, Coremetrics) and other Business Intelligence applications preferred.
- Excel and Access skills are required.
- Should be highly collaborative and comfortable with both high-level planning and tactical execution.
- Presentation skills.
- Must be comfortable working across operations and processes owned by internal and external partners; relationship builder capable of influencing and collaborating in a partner intensive environment.
