(Temp) DAM Associate, Bain & Co – NY
The Digital Asset Management Associate will support Bain & Company’s Global Marketing team to provide structure to – and increase the value of – Bain’s digital assets. The candidate should have a strong interest in metadata and tagging to catalog digital photographs and videos for Bain’s new online library. The position will work with Bain’s Digital Asset Administrator to organize, tag and improve the value and process for existing assets. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, good business judgment, an interest in business, and be able to work independently. This is a New York based position and will report into the Digital Asset Administrator. This is a 6 month full-time temporary assignment.

- Perform content assessment, classification, and organization of digital assets into a digital asset management system (DAM),
- Assign metadata and controlled vocabulary terms to photo and video assets;
- Maintain data integrity against established taxonomy & metadata models
- Ensure content is properly tagged for easy search and distribution
- Assist in image review process to ensure optimum resolution and image size
- Run routine quality control checks on processed assets
- Assist in the management and application of a file naming structure
- Partner with DAM Administrator for asset migration, and implementing workflows
- Support internal filer requests by aiding in image searches, locating and distributing files
- Meet or exceed production goals on a regular basis, while maintaining a low error rate
- Assist in development of library for DAM system documentation and procedures, training and reference guides, and workflow diagrams
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; focus in library science preferred
- 0-2 years professional experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicates clearly and professionally
- Ability to work independently on tasks, with exceptional attention to accuracy, consistency, and detail
- Works collaboratively and welcomes constructive criticism
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience in HTML, CSS and Adobe Photoshop editing skills a plus
