Job Description  
The Asset Librarian concentrates on all digital assets across the company including reception, distribution and technical manipulation of digital assets.  Additionally, the position will secure quality digital assets from a variety of sources and maintain an organized and efficient analog and digital library.

Specifically you will:

. Effectively manage and interact with all methods of asset delivery to CBS Sports. Provide direction using guidelines set by supervisors for the effective use, placement, distribution, and archiving of all assets.

. Capture metadata and assets from internal systems and external content partners. Refine and implement internal organizational systems

. Sustain an accurate archive and tracking system for all digital assets.  Systematically uploading, digitally manipulate, organizing, and captioning all assets.

. Facilitate, maintain and oversee storage, back up and distribution of assets – including but not limited to Video, Images, Print and Logos

. Communicate asset availability and usage notes to necessary departments. Facilitate creative synergies and communication between internal departments and external partners
Required Skills/Experience To qualify, you must have:


. At least 2 years of experience working with digital asset management, enterprise content management systems and/or global content catalogs.  

.  Knowledge of current and evolving technologies across all media production. Including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Studio required

 . A deep knowledge of digital image computer applications, digital image manipulation and asset management is required.

 . Understanding of Digital Asset Management programs, Photo Management systems, and XMP.

.  Strong project management, interpersonal, verbal & written communication and leadership skills.

. The ability to perform well under pressure.
