Librarian III, Rutgers Biomedical Health Sciences – NJ
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Library Science or Information Technology.
Educational and scholarly credentials to warrant faculty appointment at
one or more Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences schools are
required. Must be proficient in the use of technology-based library
systems; for example, electronic reserve systems, integrated library
systems, network administration, Web-based education support and
development, document imaging for scholarly information transfer, and
scholarly information resources and databases. Responsibilities: Provides reference and education services, in support of the education, research, and clinical goals of the University, as well as to outreach programs sponsored by the schools and units of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. Participates in the implementation of library and informatics training programs for the Newark campus, as well as for university-wide courses taught via learning management systems (i.e., Moodle). Utilizes the Web and other media to provide quality information services to the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences community.
