Position: Research Analyst
Responsibilities:

Perform database and open source research to corroborate information on individuals or corporate subjects
·
Analysis of information from public records and other sources
·
Verify accuracy of credentials by contacting outside agencies and cross-referencing that information
·
Participate in teams on enhanced due diligence and investigative due diligence projects
·
Prepare client communications for senior level review
·
Prepare comprehensive reports detailing the findings of all investigations
Qualifications:
·
1-2 years of experience in a public accounting
and/or litigation/disputes consulting firm, investigative, financial
services industry or regulatory environment conducting investigative due
diligence
·
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited
college/university in accounting, finance, economics, journalism,
library sciences or related discipline
·
Familiarity conducting domestic and international due diligence investigations in a variety of contexts
·
Deep familiarity accessing, reviewing and
summarizing all manner of standard U.S. public filings, including local,
state and federal-level civil and criminal filings, bankruptcy filings,
federal and state tax liens, judgments
and corporate registrations
·
Extensive experience utilizing a variety of database repositories (Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw, TLO, FINRA, SEC, & Pacer)
·
Strong understanding of corporate governance and the regulatory environment
·
Must possess sound judgment and be able to operate independently
·
Effective oral and written communication skills
·
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet timely deadlines
