Social Sciences Librarian, Seton Hall Univ – NJ
Qualifications: MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program; a demonstrated background of strong relevance to the liaison/bibliographer subject areas noted above; demonstrated working knowledge of print and electronic information resources and effective search strategies with skills in the use of presentation software and bibliographic citation software; demonstrated ability to keep abreast of emerging technology and information resources and knowledge of current and emerging trends, issues, and best practices in academic libraries; demonstrated interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse student body, faculty, staff and the public, handling queries, suggestions and complaints; excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills and the capability to work in a collegial environment; must be able to work one night per week and weekend rotation. Special Consideration will be given to experience in the areas noted above at the college level, and/or a relevant subject masters.
