Junior UX Researcher, Diversant (Recruiting Agency) – NJ

Immediate need for a talented UX Researcher. This is a 6 month contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Roseland, NJ or San Dimas, CA.

Junior UX Researcher –Seeking College graduates Our clients User Experience team is responsible to expand the UX Strategic footprint, visibility and value added across the organization by leading the Global UX Design and Research movement. We leverage skilled UX professionals to provide consulting services and bring new UX Innovation and industry best-practices.

This individual is responsible for coordinating, planning and executing User Experience Research activities for products across various platforms. These activities include, but are not limited to usability tests, card sorts, surveys, focus groups, interviews, task analysis, field and crowd sourcing research for complex products across platforms. This role will focus on coordinating and planning research and is a great opportunity for a junior 

Researcher to work closely with a fantastic team of senior Researchers, learn the ropes of UX research, and help our client in its mission to focus on the future.

Candidate Profile:
Strong attention to detail.

Strong project and time management skills including multi-tasking in fast-paced development environments.
Resourceful with strong problem solving, analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
A desire to learn more about UX Research

Responsibilities:
Lead our participant recruitment efforts with thought leadership, innovative ideas, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Innovate on our use of data, reporting and tools to improve strategies, outreach and effectiveness in delivering quality participants.
Adhere to and inform others of the policies and ethical codes related to conducting user research.
Recruit research participant candidates from internal databases, customer lists, and employee referrals.
Evaluate and manage relationships with key research support vendors.
Provide feedback and support researchers on recruitment screeners and study plan logistics.
Assist, and occasionally lead, research activities including writing research plans, executing research, summarizing insights, presenting findings, and driving insights into action.

Experience, Skills, Academic:
Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree (advanced degree preferred) in computer science, human computer interaction, cognitive science, experimental psychology, anthropology, information science or related field
  • Experience with database management
  • Demonstrated experience with or interest in User Research, including expert knowledge of participant recruitment process
  • Experience with consumer outreach
