Librarian P/T
Berkeley College, Brooklyn, NY seeks qualified librarian to provide part time user assistance and lending services to the campus community. ALA -MLS/ MLIS or equivalent degree required. Day, evening and Saturday hours are available.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the use of and activity within the library; provide basic and in-depth information services on site, by telephone and through real-time Chat; oversee lending functions, troubleshoot basic computer and application issues, collect use statistics and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
-Ability to facilitate student driven learning in the information seeking process
-A commitment to service and student success
-Knowledge of integrated library management systems, databases, and other web based information sources
