Job Description

The Digital Media Editor is responsible for the retouching of digital imaging assets for the eCommerce Imaging department at Lord and Taylor. The digital media editor will also utilize cloud based solutions and the Adobe Creative Suite to review, retouch and upload digital images applicable to the Hudson Bay Company websites, Hudson's Bay, Home Outfitters, and Lord & Taylor, while applying metadata as needed throughout the entire workflow. 

Responsibilities: 
• Will be responsible for retouching and processing up to 60 images daily 
• Will assist manager with the entry of metadata with digital assets and the tracking of all incoming images from different vendors 
• Under supervision of manager, will review daily image change request form: will handle renaming of files, and allocation, distribution of color correction requests • Communicate regularly with various stakeholders within the creative team ensure an efficient production and delivery cycle 
Qualifications: 
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university (preferably in Photography or Media Studies) 
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in photo retouching 
• Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5, working knowledge of Photoshop, Bridge, and Indesign 
• Microsoft Office 2008 
• Familiarity with cloud based solutions; Google docs, and Box.com 
• Excellent communication skills are required, written and verbal • Retail experience, a plus
