Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a DAM Manager.
POSITION
DAM Manager (Digital Asset Management)
LCPA manages performance data associated with the events produced by LCPA and constituent organizations across the LC campus as well as digital assets used for their production and recordings and photography generated during performances.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The DAM manager will oversee daily maintenance and health of LCPA's DAM systems and the associated procedures for ingest, metadata tagging, access and publishing of its contents. The DAM manager will also take part in the ongoing design and build of future functionality and integration such as event planning and tracking, and archive migration into the DAM.
• Manage controlled lists, taxonomy for all asset / data types
Establish standards for master data management
Document and communicate data definitions and procedures for use
• Help in designing, documenting, training and monitoring workflows and use cases for ingesting, indexing and tagging content going into the dam
Scanning documents
OCR
Cataloguing
• Managing security and account settings to facilitate controlled access, sharing and exchange of assets between users
• Assist in content usage strategies for web, desktop and mobile apps
• Manage collection and maintenance of performance data to establish an authoritative record of performances (events, works, artists, etc.)
Refine ingest workflows from multiple sources
• Legacy and ongoing new event data
• Preliminary planning and production data
Normalization of data nodes / relationships
Maintain performance taxonomies
QC of Performance data
Identify and enable links to source data and external resources

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills
• Deep understanding of and experience in DAM tools and techniques
• Experience with video and image file formats and manipulation
• Cross-platform computer skills, including scripting and automation
• Passionate drive for innovative and creative problem solving
• Performing arts experience a plus
