Knowledge Management Specialist (Family Resources), Resources for Children with Special Needs (RCSN) – NY
Resources for Children with Special Needs (RCSN) is seeking The Knowledge Management Specialist to work collaboratively to create and share vetted, timely, and relevant information resources for staff use and public use.
At RCSN, knowledge is a key strategic resource. The Knowledge Management Specialist leads RCSN’s knowledge management efforts – capturing, developing, sharing, and effectively using public and organizational information and resources. S/he will develop and maintain reliable tools, resources, and documents for staff to access in the office and in the field. In collaboration with staff, s/he will develop and implement processes to vet and curate information sources and resources, ensuring accuracy, currency and relevance. S/he will develop systems for maintaining timely and updated I&R data on community programs and referral sources. She will develop a system for maintaining a library of solutions for frequently asked questions.
The Knowledge Management Specialist will work in close collaboration staff to ensure the utility of all platforms. S/he will take initiative to update all systems in response to shifting needs, while maintaining optimal usability for all staff. S/he will train new and existing staff on system processes and best practices surrounding data sharing and updating, data backup, and mobile applications.
