(PT) Evening & Weekend Librarian, Roxbury Public Library – NJ

The Roxbury Public Library in Succasunna, NJ is seeking a bright, proactive Librarian for its Adult Services department.
Regular hours will be predominately weekends and evenings. Duties include reference, reader’s advisory, technology instruction & troubleshooting, selecting materials for purchase, scheduling programs, communicating with the community via social media, assisting in maintenance of the Library’s website.
Required:

• ALA-accredited MLS, service orientation, sharp technology skills, willingness and ability to serve as a notary public.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in English essential.
• Must have a NJ State Professional Librarian’s Certificate or obtain one within 6 months of hire.
• NJ residency required within one year of hire.

Salary: $28,605/year
