Recruiting company Klein Management Systems is seeking a Sr. Information Researcher Consultant for 6 months contract in Stamford, CT.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely, accurate, and relevant literature searches and information research to support executives, scientists, and healthcare professionals.
- Develop strategies and conduct searches using major biomedical, pharmaceutical, news, and business databases and specialized information services.
- Provide reference service and training to end-users as needed.
- Conduct literature searches upon request to provide timely, relevant, and accurate results to requesters during the absence of the companys primary searcher and as support for the launch of a new product.
Must be highly skilled in searching Dialog.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in providing clinical and market information research within the pharmaceutical/biomedical field; highly skilled in using Dialog and other database aggregators; strong search capabilities in Medline, Embase, Biosis, and other specialized databases.
- Thorough understanding of MeSH and Embase terminology and structure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to assess information needs; efficient, productive, and able to summarize literature search results.
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner and balance competing priorities.
