The Data Solutions and Operations group has a great opportunity for a Data Manager. In this position, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Criteria Library's workflow report and assisting with cataloging the Criteria Library's existing collection, as well as enhancing it with additional criteria-related content.

Specifically, you will:

  • Interface with Ratings Operations, Criteria Officers and Analytical Managers to ensure that key data is captured in the Criteria Workflow Report on a timely basis.
  • Catalog content in the Criteria Workflow Report (CWR) using established metadata standards.
  • Monitor system activity to ensure timely delivery of criteria to, Criteria Library and Ratings Direct.
  • Produce, analyze and deliver quality and management repots (e.g., aging report, system report) for the Criteria Library and Criteria Workflow Report.
  • Provide training to user groups on functionality of Criteria Library and services offered by Library staff.
  • Provide End User Support for the Criteria Library and Criteria Workflow Report (CWR) and the SharePoint site supporting the CWR.
  • Work with members of other teams to understand, identify and address issues or opportunities that lead to effective criteria management processes and improvements in data quality and services.
  • Produce ad hoc reports for management

This position requires the ability to negotiate solutions that balance quick results with strategic solutions. Selected individual must be able to communicate complicated situations using simple means; deliver analysis that span 1-2 different domains of data and provide deliverables in short time-frame.

**NOTE: The job description references the "Criteria Library". This is a central repository for all criteria, process and procedures and training materials. The criteria library is designed for Analysts and Criteria Officers to quickly and easily locate criteria. It includes a Table of Contents of current Criteria by Sector/Product and advanced search capabilities.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Database knowledge -- able to perform SQL queries
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
  • Smart, self-motivated, great communication skills and ability to influence others
  • Financial services experience strongly preferred.
