Description of the Position:
The Junior Brand Researcher will take part in a wide range of projects related to the organization and classification of companies, industries, and properties for some of the most powerful brands in the world.
The ideal candidate is a quantitative problem-solver with an understanding and curiosity about what's possible in the social 'big data' space. Most importantly, given our team’s rapid growth rate, we’re looking for someone with a 'can-do' attitude and the energy to keep up in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving environment. You will participate in every facet of what we do and help build one of the most essential components of our product

Responsibilities:
- Have a deep understanding of the relationships between industries, companies, brands, products, and people
- Assist in data collection and research
- Participate in research and data entry tasks related to building and maintaining our property dictionary
- Define internal processes for handling dictionary requests
- Research industry scope and coverage
- Research experience preferred
- Proficient in Mircosoft Excel
- Highly organized, thorough and attentive to detail
- Ability to prioritize and work quickly and efficiently
- Experience with taxonomy, metadata schemas and/or database management preferred but not required
- Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Library Science, Information Science and/or equivalent preferred but not required
- Spanish speaking is a plus
