Research Specialist/Capital
Markets-Corporate Governance

Responsibilities:
- Execute complex business and legal research to the Corporate, Corporate
Governance, Leveraged Finance, Private Equity and Merger & Acquisition
groups
- Assist attorneys, paralegals and administrative staff with
research queries
- Locate documents and assemble compilations of publicly available
disclosure by corporations
- Provide guidance and training on specific resources, both
electronic and print to both attorneys and research services members
- Assist with preparing articles, presentations and training
materials
- Monitor legislation, current publications, and SEC filings both
online and in print
- Assist with maintaining corporate files
- Assist with product testing
- General administrative duties
Requirements:
- Knowledge of standard secondary research resources and corporate
documents including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Deallawyers, IntelliConnect, Lexis
Securities Mosaic, Practical Law, Lexis, Westlaw and Thomson products,
Sharkrepellent.net, as well as other Securities & Exchange Commission
and EDGAR filing resources
- Oral & Written communication
skills required to confidently deliver and explain research findings
- 4 year college degree, excellent academic credentials, excellent
research and writing skills.
- Master's Degree in Library/Information Science or related law firm
or corporate experience.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
