Librarian

Responsibilities:
· Conduct
in-depth information research, ready reference and data mining for research
requests, projects or initiatives, and presentations
· Interact
with library users face to face and conduct in person reference interviews.
This is an interactive environment
· Conduct
searches of multiple databases, online services, print publications and
Internet. Research, analyze, filter,
synthesize and format information into information deliverables for individual
clients or teams
· Deliver
information services such as information packages, literature guides, alerting
services and others
· Contribute
daily news articles to the library’s online delivery platform
· Coordinate
communications and requests between clients in the New York location and the
library’s Data Visualization team
· Maintain
periodicals and organization of library space on a daily basis including
shelving, filing and disposing of materials
· Assist
library users with Bloomberg terminal and coordinate time slots for use
Skills:
· Familiarity
with Lexis Nexis, Factiva, Thomson One, FactSet, Bloomberg, and other
aggregated databases
Education
and Experience:
· 1
year experience in corporate setting preferred
· Recent
graduates of MLS program will be considered
· Masters
in Library Science required
