Non-Tenure Track Librarian (Librarian of Practice IV), Paul Robeson Library, Rutgers University Libraries – NJ
A non-tenure track full-time faculty position beginning immediately and continuing on an annual basis depending on funding. Situated at the Paul Robeson Library in Camden, NJ, and reporting to the Director, this person will be the liaison in the provision of information services, collection development services, and library instruction services for the students, faculty, and staff from the Camden City Campuses of Camden County College and Rowan University. This person will also provide general and specialized reference including some evening and weekend in all academic disciplines and instruction in the use of information resources for all patrons of the Robeson Library. Other duties and responsibilities as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
An ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library and Information Science. One year professional library experience preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both
independently and in a collegial environment. Experience with web based instruction. Familiarity with Spanish preferred.
SALARY/STATUS:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
