Electronic Records & Systems Coordinator, Starwood Hotels and Resorts – CT

Starwood Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Electronic Records & Systems Coordinator. This position is focused on the management of electronic records and related systems. It is responsible for hands on management of structured and unstructured electronically stored information throughout its lifecycle. This position ensures that electronic content and systems are managed in accordance with the policies and procedures of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Records & Information Management Program. 

Location: This position is based in our corporate offices in Stamford, CT .


Essential: 4 or more years of related work experience with records & information management.
- Desirable:  Education or training in records management or library sciences with a strong technical aptitude. Understanding of contracts and legal records.
- Essential: Deep understanding of content management systems, file shares, intranet, databases, web portals and other electronic information sharing systems. 2 or more years of experience with enterprise content management systems (Oracle’s Universal Content Manager or WebCenter Content highly desirable).
- Essential : Strong project management skills and experience working on large scale projects. Strong communication and presentation skills.  Strong capability for summarizing and presenting key considerations and decision-points. Experience with research, collecting requirements, and generating project documentation and solution briefs. Effective at building and cultivating relationships with key partners and stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Desirable:  Experience with OCR technology, search optimization, metadata management, legal hold and electronic discovery.
