Research and Instructional Services Librarian, Stevens Inst of Technology – NJ
Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan and instruct information literacy classes for undergraduate and graduate students
- Promote, deliver, and assess library instruction programs and workshops
- Teach undergraduate and graduate information literacy classes and workshops
- Collaborate with librarians, faculty, and other departments on campus to develop baseline competencies and guidelines for information literacy
- Participate in the evaluation of existing assessment tools and the creation of new tools to assess student-learning outcomes
- Serve as a liaison to academic departments
- Provide reference and research assistance to students, faculty and staff
- Develop web content for assigned areas
- Participate in collection development to support curriculum and research needs
- Develop web-based instructional content including videos and tutorials
- Provide outreach and promote library services to the university community
- Participate in Library and university collaborative projects
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Library Director
