Part Time, Temporary
The
Practising Law Institute (PLI) is looking for a self-motivated
individual to work as part of the Library Relations & Electronic
Publishing department. This position will take an active role in
building out
the digital archive for PLI Discover PLUS, our ebook database. Duties
will include, but will not be limited to, locating ebook files,
evaluating ebook files for completeness, performing basic XML cleanup,
managing ebooks using PLI’s content management systems,
and publishing ebooks to Discover PLUS. Desired attributes include
exposure to XML, HTML or similar markup languages; excellent
communication skills; proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
products, such as Word and Excel; familiarity with the use of
research databases; detail oriented work; and a record of dependability
