The
Practising Law Institute is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager, Library Relations.
This person will be a member of the Library Relations/EPublishing team and will be responsible for the customer experience and the overall quality of Discover PLUS, our eBook library. In this role, the candidate will perform quality checks to the content and the functionality and provide reporting. The candidate will also be a part of the team developing and implementing the PLI taxonomy. The successful candidate will also provide creative solutions and ideas for future development.

Duties
include, but are not limited to, q/a work, regression
testing, technical writing, meeting presentations, and interdepartmental
communication.
The
successful candidate must understand the basics of database searching,
and preferably legal searching (Westlaw, Lexis, Blaw). Candidate must
be capable of
managing and prioritizing multiple projects and engagements. Key
attributes include attention to detail, strong analytical skills,
effective communication skills, and high level problem solving
abilities. Candidate should have organizational skills.
Knowledge of legal, compliance and electronic publishing market preferred, although we will train the right candidate
Advanced Academic Credentials required, MLS preferred. Salary
range $55,000 – $60,000 per year commensurate with experience
