Application Management Services: Provide complete
operations services for application management, custom development, and business
process outsourcing for clients. Develop the post implementation go-live support
environment, construct the transition plan from the project team to the support
team, and support and maintain the client applications and technology

Information Management: Plan, design, and implement solutions that
deliver and analyze information efficiently for competitive advantage
Oracle Package Technologies: Performs advisory and implementation
services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer
relationship management, procurement, order management, supply chain, and other
business needs throughout the enterprise leveraging the full suite of Oracle
products (ie Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Siebel, and Edge
Products)
SAP Package Technologies: Perform advisory and implementation
services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer
relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs throughout the
enterprise with the full suite of SAP products
Emerging Solutions Technologies: Builds new practices that
differentiate, complement, and augment our existing offerings in the enterprise
application and eCommerce arenas.
Systems Integration: Provide Technology Solution Development and
Integration across the SDLC including requirements, functional specs, design,

A
Senior Consultant - Taxonomist in the Deloitte Digital - Digital Content
practice will work in a variety of taxonomy, content management, and knowledge
management areas on digital/technical projects.
Senior Consultant - Taxonomist Essential
Functions:
- Sr. Consultants function as integrators between taxonomy needs and digital/technology solutions.
- Responsibilities include, among others, developing, mapping, evaluating and maintaining taxonomies.
- Sr. Consultants perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels.
· Sr. Consultants gain exposure to multiple industries and
service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full
breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities.
· Sr. Consultants are responsible for leading teams within an
engagement.
Digital Content Senior Consultants (Taxonomists) in the
Deloitte Digital practice are required to have:
- 4+ years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience
- At least 2 years of experience of taxonomy development experience
- At least 1 year of experience leading medium sized teams, including client and consulting staff
- Willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the time
In addition, successful Digital Content Senior Consultants
(Taxonomists) will also have the following preferred background:
- Hands on experience with taxonomy development project deliverables
- Experience with taxonomy management systems
- Experience designing and leading stakeholder interviews, user inquiry, website and business performance metrics audits, and taxonomy development workshops
- Strong oral and written communication skills, facilitation, documentation, and presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, etc.)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Willingness to mentor junior staff
- A Bachelor's Degree
- An advanced degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) or comparable degree is strongly preferred
- Certification with AIIM or ARMA
