Services Associates
EdLab at Teachers College is seeking Services Associates
Services Associates will help learning communities (including the Teachers College community) become familiar with EdLab tools and a range of library/information services.
Candidates should demonstrate an interest in technology and education and should be able to adapt easily as educational environments evolve. As a member of the services team you will help answer reference questions and provide research assistance to the community. This job is perfect for library and information science students who want to gain experience working in an innovative and forward thinking library while completing their degree.
Qualifications:Candidates must communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and have a commitment to the field of education.
Preferred candidates should have customer service experience and feel comfortable offering assistance to adult learners. Candidates should have the ability to promote services and tools in a wide array of social media platforms.
This is a part time position.
