Head Librarian, Northvale Public Library – NJ
The Northvale Public Library has an opportunity available for a MLS graduate from an ALA-accredited institution to get in on the ground floor as a full-time Librarian I (35 hours/week, including evening and weekend hours).
On the November 2014 General Election Ballot, Northvale voters approved a binding referendum for a Municipal Library. The Librarian will have a unique opportunity to work with the Library Board of Trustees to build a Library from “the ground up”. The Northvale Public Library will serve the popular interest, entertainment and information needs of the approximately 4,400 residents of the Municipality of Northvale in northern New Jersey.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a librarian to grow in a small town environment.
