Manager, Tax Knowledge Management Job, KPMG – NY

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, to join our Tax Knowledge Management group in one of our NY / NJ metro area offices.
Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with field professionals and partners, maintain ongoing relationships with functional group representatives, including providing guidance and support on how to effectively deploy tools
• Manage relationships with key business stakeholders, knowledge leaders, content owners, and application managers to help ensure priority content and applications are fully integrated into portal
• Develop and maintain practice pages on portal and provide recommendations and assistance to tax practice groups that want to create new practice pages, collaboration team sites, or other online solutions
• Advise content owners and practice groups on content management processes and on optimal delivery of their content, as well as identify opportunities to leverage existing tools to expand usage to other client groups
• Manage tax content on the portal and manage content management processes
• Plan, evaluate, implement, and communicate technological and process enhancements and changes

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of progressive knowledge management, information services, or similar role within a professional services firm or similar environment
• Minimum three years of experience working with content management, portals, and collaboration tools; preferably using a Microsoft SharePoint platform
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
• Strong project management experience and PMP certification is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Microsoft SharePoint site administration skills including page creation and editing, document library and list creation, web part views creation, document uploading, tagging, and user permissions
