Librarian (Instructional), Passaic County Community College – NJ

Passaic County Community College is seeking a full-time Librarian to serve as a generalist with the ability to perform a variety of library-related tasks including reference, circulation, and collection development.He or she will work as a collaborative member of the Library Instruction team to teach, develop, and assess library instruction as well as serve as a liaison and advocate for library programs with College faculty and administration.

The Librarian must have:

• a MLS degree;
• strong writing and presentation skills;
• experience and/or education in instructional design, particularly with self-tutorial materials;
• demonstrated evidence of having quickly adapted and effectively used new learning and library technologies; and
• the ability to assist faculty in the use of technology and its integration into instruction.
Classroom teaching experience is preferred.

This is a 12-month administrative position with a 35-hour work week and some evening and weekend rotation.
