Manager with a background in taxonomy design, development, and
maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience working with
controlled
vocabularies, assigning metadata to charts and organizing editorial
information on the web.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and improve eMarketer’s controlled vocabulary and thesaurus.
• Develop and document rules for metadata creation and assignment.
• Provide collaborative input on taxonomy development.
• Provide quality control of tagging used in website navigation.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated expertise in metadata management and information organization.
• Knowledge/background in digital marketing.
•
Bachelor’s degree required; Masters of Library and Information Science
(MLIS) or related degree strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Must be a NY metro area resident.
