Job Description
Position Summary
Support AETN's distribution efforts through development of reports, presentations and strategies pertinent to positioning AETN brands with traditional and new media distributors.
Position Responsibilities
- Create standard reports, including local and national ratings, DMA rankers, viewer profiles, etc., as well as work on numerous ad hoc requests.
- Evaluate network viewership trends to inform the distribution group of network/program performance (program premieres/final analyses, quarterly updates, etc.)
- Work on developing and updating distribution sales presentations for all Network brands.
- Review syndicated research studies (such as Beta, Horowitz, Magid, etc.), assess their impact on AETN brands and create concise summary reports for each study.
- Support the affiliate web site, by providing research updates on a quarterly basis.
- Manage projects involving new distribution platforms, i.e. VOD, iTV, Mobile, Broadband, etc.

Skills
Required Experience:
3 yrs research experience in the media industry (distribution related experience a plus).
Candidate must be familiar with Nielsen data and systems (Arianna, NPower, StarTrak, etc.) as well as secondary research sources (MRI, Scarborough, etc.).
Candidate must be a strategic thinker focused on detail and well versed in current issues facing the industry.
Excellent analytical and written communication skills required.
Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.
Required Education:
Colege Degree
