The successful candidate will be an online community and collaboration domain expert with a vision for integrating community features into applications and websites. This person will develop the next generation of community and collaboration features for Thomson Reuters' flagship financial applications. As the community domain expert, the candidate will recruit and lead a dedicated team of developers, product specialists, and user experience professionals.
 
The candidate will be part of the core new product development team which provides technical and product strategy for the Investment & Advisory division, which has over $2 billion of revenues and 4,000 employees. The role will also require the successful candidate to work effectively with a wide range of internal groups and teams to build a proper product strategy.  This includes:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and drive product strategy and vision
  • Define and drive the product development life cycle, manage roadmap deliverables, business requirements definition and product vision
  • Execute product deployments


Qualifications
  • 5+ years successful experience managing or developing online community or online collaboration products and features
  • Sophisticated understanding of community and collaboration trends online; specifically for professionals
  • Experience formulating business cases, conducting competitive analysis and researching user needs.
  • Experience managing diverse teams, coordinating large projects and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent presentation skills and organizational skills
  • Desire to be successful in a fast-paced, performance oriented environment
  • MBA a plus
