Business Researcher global consultancy (restructuring practice) New York
Our client, a prestigious global consultancy has an opportunity for an experienced researcher /analyst to join their business research team supporting their restructuring practice.
This role is based in New York City where the primary stakeholders are based.
Due to the nature of the practice area key stakeholders face a demanding workload. This role supports both the business development activity of the practice via market intelligence as well as insights that support the delivery of consulting projects. The postholder will be very much embedded in the practice whilst being supported by a generalist research team for more transactional research requests.
The successful candidate will be familiar with tools such as:
Debtwire, Reorg Research, Law 360, Bloomberg, PACER, Capital IQ, Factiva and Statista.
In addition, candidates must be able to interpret and analyse information to provide insight to practice heads and keep them informed of market developments as well s anticipate information gaps.
Delivering compelling insight via PowerPoint decks for example is very much a part of this role.
