Temporary Library Relations Assistant

Join Practising Law Institute (PLI) and represent the legal community’s premier provider of continuing education and research services as a Temporary Library Relations Assistant in our New York office. Grow your career and support the daily functions of the Legal Information Services & Electronic Publishing department by engaging with PLI PLUS customers, providing administrative support and assisting with special projects. We anticipate that this temporary project will last for approximately three months with the possibility of extending.

Your responsibilities as Temporary Library Relations Assistant
• Daily administrative tasks such as reserving conference rooms, generating reports or updating PLI PLUS contract spreadsheet.
• Interfacing with customers’ in-person, phone, and email. 
• Supporting customer retention of PLI PLUS and print subscribers.
• Assisting with execution of PLI PLUS usage campaigns.
• Creating and updating documentation and training guides to support the department and PLI.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualified candidates will have
• Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced Academic Credentials or MLS a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; previous customer facing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects at once.
• A flexible, team player attitude, willing to provide support on various projects as needed.
• The ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday for the duration of the temp assignment.
