We are looking for an energetic, flexible, motivated
individual to perform Reference Desk responsibilities.
Skills
Required:
Enthusiasm for
Reference and Readers’ Advisory services
ALA-accredited master’s degree
Basic understanding of MARC records, AACR2 Cataloging Standards and Dewey Decimal Call Number system
Basic understanding of MARC records, AACR2 Cataloging Standards and Dewey Decimal Call Number system
Demonstrated
flexibility in previous jobs
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
Experience with standard computer applications, integrated library systems, preferably Innovative Interfaces, and internet resources

Schedule:
Full time
– 35 hours/week,
includes
one late night plus alternate Saturdays in Reference.
Sundays in
Reference on a voluntary basis.
Starting
Salary:
The starting salary is
$53,260 with full benefit package commensurate with experience and
qualifications.
