Business Development Research Analyst
Proskauer's Business Development team has an opportunity for a detail-oriented, strategic thinker to conduct research of companies, industries and competitors and synthesize the research to assist in business development and marketing efforts. Knowledge of the legal industry is preferred.
The individual will support department/practice heads, client/industry teams and the BD Department generally in the preparation of presentations to the firm leadership.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Compiling, analyzing, organizing, and leveraging internal and external intelligence on clients, competitors, markets, and industries
* Must be able to manage multiple research projects and focus and re-focus research and marketing plans to develop solutions and deliver results
* Provide research/analysis in support for internal communications and cross-selling initiatives and development of winning proposals and RFP's
* Conduct specialized secondary research and analysis. Efficiently navigate the most relevant resources from free and fee-based sources including Lexis, Westlaw, industry periodicals, ALM, and WestMonitor
* Create custom reports to highlight data using Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Candidate should have an advanced degree, preferably in Library Science. Work experience in the legal field for 3-5 years
