Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service and reference assistance to students and faculty members in finding library materials, using the library's online resources, and citing sources. Responsibilities include: assisting in-person patrons, answering the reference desk phone and tracking patron statistics. Position includes closing the library.

 


















Shift available:

  • Summer 2023 (Monday evenings 5pm-11pm)

Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MLS from an ALA accredited institution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in an academic library.
  • Knowledge of college-level reference services and resources.
