Senior Librarian II
Reference Department
The Senior Librarian II assists the Department Head of Reference with general administrative duties. Responsibilities will include scheduling, staff supervision and evaluation and related tasks as delegated by the department head. In addition, the Senior II Librarian may be asked to function as the Person in Charge of the Library in the absence of a Department Head. This is a Union Position.
Skills Required:
MLS from an ALA accredited library school
Minimum of three (3) years Reference Experience
Documented knowledge of Serials Maintenance
Proven experience in Online Database Management
Budgeting Experience Preferred
Schedule:
Full time – 35 hours/week, includes one night plus Saturday rotation.
Sundays on a voluntary basis.
Starting Salary Range:
The minimum starting salary is $61,640 plus full benefit package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
