Part-time Librarian Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly librarian dedicated to public service to join our Adult and YA Services team. Candidates will be required to work 2 evenings/week and every other Saturday. Sunday hours available at a premium rate.
Responsibilities Include:
· Provide reader’s advisory and information services.
· Provide assistance with devices and digital resources.
· Responsible for scheduled coverage at the Information Desks.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· New York State Public Librarian’s Certificate
· Ability and willingness to provide excellent customer service – a people person!
· Knowledge of Sierra, Canva, and Microsoft Word a plus
· Ability to function independently and work in a team environment; cooperation and collaboration is essential.
Hourly Salary Range:
· $28.00 - $33.00 based on experience
This is a non-competitive Civil Service Position.
