Geisinger is accepting applications for a librarian to join a team that engages with students, faculty, clinicians, and researchers to optimize access to and use of information. This librarian will lead in managing access to and operations of electronic resources and systems, including authentication systems, library website architecture, and the discovery tools. The individual in this position will work closely with the director of library digital strategy, IT, and vendors to implement and enhance access to resources and services. Other responsibilities include participating in the reference service, leading projects to evaluate and develop online delivery of library services and resources, and contributing to library-wide initiatives.
The position can be work from home, hybrid, or in-person.
Library Services reports through the Associate Dean for Library Services and the Dean of the School of Medicine.
