The Mount Kisco Public Library has Ad Hoc Librarian I positions
open. The position entails providing customer service to our diverse community in adult, children’s, and teen areas of the library. Evening and Weekend availability is required.
Duties
include: providing reference and readers’ advisory services to adults,
seniors, children, and teens; providing computer, catalog and database
searching and instruction; assisting
users of all ages in accessing print and electronic resources;
assisting with library programs; performing other job related duties.
An MLS degree from an ALA accredited school and a minimum of one (1) year professional librarian experience subsequent to the MLS is required.
Familiarity with MS office Suite, Evergreen, and bi-lingual English-Spanish is helpful.
Range of pay: $19/hour - $24/hour
