Structured Content Strategist
IBM is looking for a structured content strategist to join the structured content team at IBM Studio, in New York, NY. The new established team works on structured content strategy innovation for M&C, in collaboration with CIO. Our goal is to help marketers to optimize the value of digital content through semantic technology to improve the digital marketing performance.
The structured content strategist plays a critical role on the structured content team, working with content publishers to ensure relevant and quality content is created for the target audience. The candidate will have a role in building roadmaps for future landscapes and growth of services related to structured content.
Key responsibilities:
Working with content publishers to identify structured content requirements
Building collaboration and structured content community through promotion, training and communications
Providing expert advice on structured content modeling and implementation
Defining structured content standards and best practice
Developing user-centric vocabularies representing business concepts for marketing content
Required
Experience with content management system and content modeling
Hand-on experience in taxonomy development and metadata tagging
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage different groups of audience and to create consensus
Ability to translate a high-level direction into practical projects and drive their completion with minimal supervision.
Preferred
Master's Degree in Library Information Sciences, Communications, Media, Journalism
Familiarity with XML, RDF and SKOS
Working experience in a complex organization
Background in publishing industry
Experience with user centered design
Familiarity of Agile methodologies
Background in linguistics
