Librarian II Exam, Suffolk County (NY)

The deadline to file an application for the upcoming Librarian II exams (OC and PR) is next week.

It should be noted that the specs were prepared on August 14th and posted afterwards at the above link.  However, those who subscribe to Civil Service's "e-updates" service (a mailing list) would never have known this, since they receive notification via a copy of the "Examination Announcement Summary" (a press release): http://apps.suffolkcountyny.gov/civilservice/brief.pdf

Note that the last release issued is dated August 20th!  (Exams with an October filing date were posted afterwards and would have been included in later releases.)

The last date to apply (online or in-person) is Wednesday, October 2nd. The exams are scheduled for Saturday, November 9th (usually @ 9:00 AM).
