As
a member of a Global Library Channel Marketing Team, the Library
Channel Academic and Government Marketing Specialist - Americas is
responsible for designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs
to support library channel marketing/sales efforts, including email and
social media campaigns, event marketing, customer engagement programs,
lead generation, multimedia, marketing collateral and website
management. The specialist will work closely with sales, marketing
services and will manage external vendors as needed to coordinate the
execution of marketing projects. This position is responsible for
preparing a detailed annual budget for their respective markets and for
tracking and maintaining the budget. Specific responsibilities include:

Prepare and manage the annual Channel Marketing Plan

Manage conference and trade show logistics and set-up
-
Manage lead generation/direct marketing campaigns via email, advertising, telemarketing and direct mail
-
Develop, write and implement market
strategies in close cooperation with the Academic and Government Library
Marketing Staff, including Sales where appropriate
-
Develop marketing communication plans in cooperation with the eProduct manager/global library channel marketing manager
-
Internal Librarian page(s) maintenance
-
Manage social media calendar, including library eNewsletters geared towards branding, lead generation and events
-
Manage eProduct trial logistics and deliverables
-
Manage global sales collateral
-
Assist in the management of customer programs including Librarian Advisory Boards, Summits and seminars
-
Manage marketing project database
-
Manage SAP CRM campaigns as it pertains to marketing activities
-
Track lead generation and ROI for designated marketing campaigns via SAP CRM on a monthly basis

Participate in the Academic and Government sales teams' meetings
-
Manage, report, and update marketing activities and budget
-
Other duties as assigned

BA
in marketing or communications required, along with three to five years
proven experience in operational and strategic marketing in a business
to business environment is preferred

Experience in MarCom, direct marketing, and online media are preferred
-
Budgeting and project management experience is desired
-
Willing to travel (minimum two months a year)

Library marketing experience preferred (but not required)
-
Working with sales organizations preferred
-
Strong communication/public speaking skills, excellent Grammar and English skills (fluent in Spanish a plus)

Capable of multi-tasking and working well under pressure
-
Well versed in social media
