PT Service Desk Assistant - Access Services
If you are a positive, highly-motivated
worker committed to providing exceptional customer service, Baruch College's
Newman Library invites you to apply for a part-time service desk assistant
position located in the Access Services Division.
Responsibilities:
Serving patrons
at a very busy service desk, circulating and retrieving library materials,
managing patron records, performing basic financial transactions, and patiently
and professionally answering questions about library services and policies.
Qualifications:
The ability to achieve
consistently high customer satisfaction and service excellence, basic computer
skills, dependability, and good written and oral communication skills.
Prior sales, hospitality, or customer service experience is necessary.
Hours: 20 hours per week. Weekdays, evenings,
and weekends are available.
Compensation: $12/hour
